"Petit Pissarres is derived from the word "pizarra" which is "slate" in Spanish. The unique soil of Priorat is a critical quality factor for the wines. Grapes are sourced from three vineyards resulting in a balanced wine which reinforces the accessible character of a regional wine; the presentation card of DOQ Priorat.
Vinification Fermented with indigenous yeast in stainless steel tanks. The wine is then aged 10 months in a combination of 3,000L Slovenian oak from Garbelotto and barrels of various sizes.
Tasting Notes Intense red with purple tones. It has a very fresh aroma, full of flowers and fruits sensations that are confirmed in the palate. It is cheerful and lively, and expresses citrus flavours and memories of summer stone fruits, such as peach and apricot. In the end it appears so vibrant and enjoyable that makes us want to drink more.
