"100% Barbera. Vines are 10-30 years old, all planted to sandy, calcareous soils. Fermentation takes place over 4-5 days on the skins. Maturation occurs in used French barriques for 5-6 months prior to bottling.
Ruby red in color with violet reflections, this wine offers aromas of violets and black cherry. On the palate, it is warm and full-bodied, with the right acidity and a lingering finish with notes of dark red fruits.
Great with pasta courses, fatty cheses and salami."
