"The Pinot Noir comprising this cuvée is grown in limestone-clay soils and has benefited from environmentally friendly cultivation methods (tillage, avoidance of chemicals). In the cellar, the grapes are rigorously sorted prior to cold maceration and a long vatting at low temperature, enabling the extraction of as much substance and colour as possible. Élevage is in barrels and is long, lasting 18 months. In the glass, the wine has a magnificent depth, and successfully blends floral and fruit notes. Some cellaring is called for before enjoying this wine; and why not open the bottle a little while before serving it."
